The Iliad is a student-managed publication for Monmouth-Roseville High School, 325 West 1st Avenue, Monmouth, IL 61462. The student editors make all decisions on content. It is an open forum for student discussion on issues pertaining to the school, the community, and the world. Views expressed in the Iliad do not necessarily represent views of the school, its staff, or Monmouth-Roseville District 238. Unsigned editorials represent the opinions of the student Editorial Board.

The Iliad is the eyes and ears of Monmouth-Roseville High School, representing students, faculty, and staff and presenting them with information and insight pertaining to life at MRHS, in our community, and in our world. We will present this information with honesty, accuracy, integrity, and decency.

Students are encouraged to submit letters to the editor expressing their views on school issues or their opinions on items featured in the Iliad. Letters may be submitted to room 209. Letters must be typed or neatly written, must include the signature of the student submitting it, and may not be profane or in poor taste. The Iliad reserves the right to edit any and all letters to the editor for grammar and length.
